The members of the Board, the Primary School Councils, or the Certain Committees of the Board or the Primary School Councils, persons in the E:a ted service of the Board, the Primary School Councils or such Committees to be public and any person appointed under this Act to audit the accounts of the servants. Board or of a Primary School Council or to perform any other duties under this Act or the rules and regulations made thereunder shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in the discharge of their duties or the exercise of their powers under this Act or under the rules and regulations made thereunder, to be public servants within the meaning 45 of 1860. of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
