(1) The State Government may, from time to time, cause the aff airs of Enquiry into enquiry to be made by any person in regard to the Board or a Primary the Board School Council on matters connected with primary education or any and the Prim matter with respect to which the sanction, approval, consent or order of School ary the State Government is required by or under this Act. council. (2) The person holding such enquiry shall have the powers of a 5 of 1908. Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, to the take evidence and to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of documents for the purpose of enquiry. (3) The State Government may make orders as to the cost of enquiry made under sub-section (1) and as to the party by whom and the funds out of which such costs shall be paid and such orders may on the application of the State Government or the person named therein be executed as if it were a decree of a Civil Court.
