(1) The word "drain", as defined in clause (30) of section 2, shall, in the case of the Corporation in the hill areas, include a jhora or watercourse of natural drainage line, and the State Government may, for the purposes of this Act, specify, by notification, the limits of any jhora, watercourse, channel, or natural drainage line with a municipal area in the hill areas. (2) For the purposes of this chapter, the expression "masonry building", as defined in clause (55) of section 2, shall include a framed building.
