(1) The Board of Councillors may declare a public street or a portion of it, as a fee parking area. (2) Parking fee may be levied for each hour at such rate, and for such types of vehicles parked in different areas or for parking on different categories of streets at different hours of the day, as the Board of Councillors may determine: Provided that such fee for each hour shall not exceed rupees two in the case of passenger vehicles and rupees five in the case of goods vehicles.
