Notwithstanding anything contained in any other provisions of this Act, any licence for working lift, escalator or travelator, which has been granted before the date of commencement of this Act, shall deemed to be granted under the provision of section 6 of this Act and shall be valid upto the due date of expiry and shall be renewed as per the provisions of section 7.
