In the West Bengal Building Tax Act, 1996, in section 17, for the words "or within five years from the date of commencement of this Act,", the words, figures and letters "or within the 31st day of March, 2003," shall be substituted, and shall be deemed to have been substituted, with effect from the 21st day of January, 2002.
