(1) The Board of a Co-operative society may, from time to time, create posts of different categories of employees to assist the Co-operative society in the perfor- mance of its duties and discharge of its function and such creation of posts shall only be made with prior approval by the general body. (2) The Board of a Co-operative society shall appoint, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Rules and the by-laws, such officer and other employees in respect of which the posts are created under sub-section (1).
