(1) A half-yearly general meeting of a Co-operative society shall be called at any time after six months but within eight months from the date of last annual general meeting for the following purposes:— (a) to review of the activities of the Co-operative society on the basis of the report placed by the board; (b) to consider audit report, if any; (c) to review financial position on the basis of provisional accounts; (d) any other item as may be specified in the by-laws. (2) A half-yearly general meeting shall be called in accordance with the provi- sions of sub-section (1) of section 29.
