in section 56,— (1) in clause (b) of sub-section (1), for the words "four years" in the two places where they occur the words "one year" shall be substituted; (2) in sub-section (2),- for the words "sub-section (1)" the words "clause (a) of sub-section (/)" shall be substituted; and (3) to sub-section (3), the following proviso shall be added, namely:— "Provided that a person shall not be eligible for election as Mayor successively for more than two terms." ;
