With effect from the date from which the valuation made by the Board under this Act becomes operative in any area, the provisions of the Bengal Municipal Act, 1932 or the Calcutta Municipal Act, 1951 or any other law relating to any of the matters provided for in this Act shall be deemed, in respect of such area, to have been modified to the extent of the provisions made in this Act.
