Subject to the provisions of this Act, and the. Statutes, the Syndicate may make Ordinances providing for all or any of the following matters, namely :— (a) the admission of students to the University and their enrolment as such and the levy of fees in University Colleges and University Laboratories; (b) the conditions of residence of the students of the University and the levy of fees for residence in Halls; (c) the qualifications, emoluments and conditions of service of Teachers of the University; (d) the qualifications of Teachers other than Teachers of the University; (e) the appointment, duties and remuneration of examiners; (f) all matters which by this Act or by Statutes may be provided for by the Ordinances.
