(I) No person shall— . (a) in any public slreel or public place— (i) ease himself; or (ii) carry meal exposed to public view; or (iii) picket animals or collect carts; or (iv) being engaged in the removal of rubbish, filth or other polluted and obnoxious mailer wilfully or negligently permil any portion thereof lo spill or fall or neglect (o sweep away or otherwise effectually to remove any portion thereof which may spill or fall in such street or place;or (v) without proper authority affix upon any building, monument, post, wall, fence, tree or other ihing any bill, notice or other document; or (vi) without proper authority deface or write upon or otherwise mark any building, monument, post, wall, fence, tree or other thing; or The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980. 839 LIX or 1980.] (Pari VII.—Con11mtnin Health.—Chapter XXX.—Environmental Sanitation and Public Safety.—F. (vii) without proper authority remove, destroy, deface or ' otherwise obliterate any noLice or oilier document pul up or cxhihiled under lhis Act or the rules or the regulations made liiereunder: or (viii) wilhoui proper authority displace, damage, or make any alteration in or otherwise interfere with, the pavement, gutter, siorm water-drain, flags or olher materials of any such sLrecl or any lamp bracket, direciion-post, hydrant or water-pipe maintained by the Corporation in any sueh street or place or extinguish a public light; or (ix) carry rubbish, filiii or other polluted and obnoxious matter at any hour prohibited by lhe Municipal Commissioner by public notice or in any palleru of cart or rccepiacle which has not been approved for I he purpose by the Municipal Commissioner or Tail to close such carl or receptacle when in use; or (b) carry rubbish. Tilth or oilier polluted and obnoxious mailer along any route in contravention of any prohibition made ill this behalf by the Municipal Commissioner by public notice; or (c) deposit or cause or permit to be deposited earth or materials of any description or any rubbish or polluted and tibnoxious mailer in any place nol inlended Tor the purpose in any public sircel or public place or waste or unoccupied land under llie man age me in of the Corporation; or (d) make any grave or burn or bury any corpse at any place not set apart Tor such purpose; or (e) al any time or place ai which llic same has been prohibited by lhe Municipal Commissioner by public or special notice beat a drum or tom-tom or blow a hom or Irumpet or beat any utensil or sound any brass or other instrument or play any music; or (0 disturb the public peace or order by singing, screaming or shouling or by using any apparatus for amplifying or reproducing the human voice, such as a megaphone or a loudspeaker; or (g) let loose any animal so as io cause or negligently allow any animal lo causc, injury, danger, alarm or annoyance lo any person; or 840 The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, J9S0.
