The Municipal Commissioner may, by written notice,— (a) require the owner or olher person having the control of any private latrine or urinal, which in the opinion of lhe Municipal The Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980. 837 19S0.J ■ (Part VIf,—Community Health,—Chapter XXX.—Environmental Sanitation and Public Safety,—D. General Provisions.— Sections 510-512.) Commissioner constitutes a nuisance, to remove the latrine or the urinal; or (b) require any person having lhe control whether as owner, lessee or occupier or any laud or building— (i) lo have any latrine provided for lhe same shut out by a sufficient root", wall or fence from the view of persons passing by Dr dwelling in lhe neighbourhood; or (ii) lo cleanse; in such manner as lhe Municipal Commissioner may specify in the noticc any lairine or urinal belonging to such land or buildings; or (c) where any premises i mended or used for human habitat ion are without any latrine or urinal accommodation or are provided with insufficient lnlrinc or urinal accommodation, require lhc owner, lessee or occupier of such premises Lo provide such lairine or urinal accommodation or such additional lairine or urinal accommodation ns he may spccify by causing, if ncccssary, any pari of such premises lo be vacated and demolished in accordance with Hie ruJcs or the regulations made in this behalf.
