Except as oLlienvi.se permitted by any order under Ibis Act,— (1) no person shal I— (a) bathe in or near any lake, tank, reservoir, fountain, cistern, duct, stand-pipe, stream or well or any part of any river or other place vesting in the Corporation; (b) wash or cause to be washed in or near any such place or work any animal, clothes or other article; (c) throw, pul or cause lo enter inlo the waier in any such placc or work any animal or other thing; (d) causc or suffer lo drain inlo or upon any such place or work or lo be brought therein lo or thereupon anything or do anything whereby the water shall be in any degree fouled or corrupted; (c) dry clothes in or upon any such place; (2) no person shall— (a) in contravention of any prohibition made by ilie Municipal commissioner under section 499 use any portion of any river or any place not vesting in the Corporaiion for any purpose mentioned in lhal section; (b) contravene the provisions of any noiice given by the Municipal Commissioner under section 499 for lhe use or any such portion of any river or any place lor any such purpose.
