Notwithstanding anything contained hereinbefore in this Chapter, Work io be the Municipal Commissioner may, for reasons of environmental sanitation, cause the following work io be executed in any bustee:— (a) sinking of lubewells inside a bustee including laying of water pipe lines, installation of overhead reservoirs and other appurtenances necessary lo maintain flushing arrangements for privies and sewers, (b) laying of drains or diversion of existing drains, (c) conversion of service privies inlo connected privies or septic lank privies, (d) removal of sill from the sewers and sludge from Lhe seplic tanks inside a bit.stee, {e) removal of solid or liquid wastes from lhe bus tees including cleansing of lhe deck or squaling platform or Lhe septic Lank or connected privies, (0 repair work relating to any of the activities in items (a) to (e). 814 [West Ben.
