(1) No person shall construct any house-drain, urina! or other receptacle, nol being a cesspool, for sewage or offensive mailer within fifteen meires of any tank, well or water-coursc or any reservoir for lhe siorage of water, unless lie first satisfies the Municipal Commissioner that he will take such action as will prevent any risk of sewage or offensive matter passing by percolation or otherwise into such lank, well, watercourse or reservoir. (2) The Municipal Commissioner may, at any lime by a wrilien noiice, require any person wilhin whose premises is situated, within fifteen metres of any tank, well, water-course or reservoir Tor lhe storage of water, any receptacle mentioned or referred lo in sub-section (1) Lo remove such receptacle.
