Whenever it is provided in this Chapter thai sleps shall or may be la ken for the effectual drainage of any premises, il shall be competent for the Municipal Commissioner to require tliaL there shall be one drain for sewage, offensive mailer and polluted waier and nn entirely distinct drain fur rain waier and unpolluted sub-soil water or both rain water and unpolluted sub-.soil waier, each emptying inlo separate municipal dm ins or oilier suitable places.
