(1) The Corporation shall, as soon as may be after Lhe commencc- mem of this Acl, constitute a Municipal Service Commission consisting of— . ' (a) a Chairman, and (b) '[three] other members, (2) The Chairman and one of lhe other members shall be nominated by the Corporation on the recommendation or the Mayor-in-Council, 2[, and two members, one of whom shall be an officer or Lhc Department of Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare of the Slate Government, shall be nominated by Lhe Slate Government.] (3) The Chairman and other members shall hold office for a term or '[four years or till attaining lhe age of sixty-lwo years, whichever is earlier.] (4) A person who holds office as Chairman or oilier member of Lhe Municipal Service Commission shall, on the expiration of his term of officc, be ineligible for appointment Lo any post under Lhe Corporation. (5) The qualifications for appointment as Chairman or other member or the Municipal Service Commission shall be such as may be provided by regulations. (a) Ihe salaries, allowances, ifanv, and conditions of service of lhe Chairman and other members of the Municipal Scrvicc Commission; (b) lhe manner in which lhe Municipal Service Commission shall perform lhe duties imposed upon it by or under this Acl; (c) the number of officers and other employees of lhe Municipal Service Commission and their salaries and allowances; and (d) lhe terms and conditions of service including discipline, control and conduct of officers and other employees of lhe Municipal Service Commission.
