{1) There shall be placed to the credit of the Municipal Fund in llie Road Development ;ind Maintenance Account— (a) such subvention as lhc Stale Government may give from lime lo lime from the proceeds of the tax on moior vehicles: Tees realised on account of parking of vehicles under ihis Acl; an amount equal to iwcniy-fivc per cent, oflhe total grant made hy lhe Stale Government lo ihe Corporation undcrsub-seciion (2) of seel ion 12 oflhe Taxes on Entry of Goods into '[Kolkata] Metropolitan Area Acl, 1972; and the amount received from the Slate Government under subsection (2). (2) The Stale Government shall in cacti year give to lhe Corporalion an amount which slml! include any money given by lhe Stale Government lo the Corporalion as subvention for a specific purpose or given towards lhe payment of salaries and allowances, if any. of the officers arid employees of lhe Corporation referred lo in section 14 and seciion 17 in so far as iheir work relates to road development and maintenance. (3) The money erediicd io the Municipal Fund in lhc Road Development and Maintenance Accouni shall, subjeel lo lhe regulations made in this behalf, be applied for the purposes of development and maintenance of roads.
