(1) The Finance Officer shall be appointed by the University. He shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be paid such salary from the University Fund and hold office for such period as the University may decide. (2) If the Finance Officer is by reason of leave, illness or other cause, unable to exercise the powers and perform the duties of his office, the University may appoint a person tem- porarily to exercise his powers and perform his duties.
