Section 81

(1) No Allied-Medical or Para-Medical Professional shall add to his name any title, letters or abbreviations, which imply that he holds a degree or diploma, license or certificate as his qualification to practise as Registered Medical Practitioner, or Dentist or Nurse or Pharmacist. (2) Whoever contravenes the provision in sub-section (1) shall, without prejudice to the provisions of section 61 of this Act, be punishable in the case of first offence with fine, which may extend to one thousand rupees, and in the case of a second or subsequent offence(s) with fine, which may extend to two thousand rupees.
