(1) Any elected member of the Council may at any time resign from his membership by writing under his hand addressed to the President of the Council. (2) Any nominated member may at any time resign from his membership by writing under his hand addressed to the State Government. (3) A member, who has submitted his resignation under this section, shall continue to hold office of the Council until his resignation has been accepted by the Council or the State Government as the case may be: Provided that such resignation of a member shall be finalised within three months of tendering such resignation.
