Honorary Degrees: The Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) may, on the recommendation of the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council) and by a resolution passed by a majority of 'not less than two-thirds of the members present and voting, make proposal to the Amir-i-Jamia (Chancellor) for conferment of the honorary degrees: Provided that in case of emergency, the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) may, on its own, make such proposals. The Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) may, by a resolution passed by a majority of not less than two-thirds of the members present and voting, withdraw, with the previous sanction of the Vice-Chancellor, any honorary degree conferred by the University.
