Subs. by section 29 (b) ibid. [The Uttar Pradesh [Kshettra Panchayats and Zila Panchayats]1 Adhiniyam, 1961] [Section 273-274] [(2) No order under sub-section (1) shall be made after the expiration of the period of two years from the date of commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Laws (Amendment) Act, 1994. (3) The provisions made by any order unde sub-section shall have effect as if enacted in this Act and any such order may be made so as to be restrospective to any date not earlier than the date of commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Laws (Amendment) Act, 1994 (4) Every order made under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be, before both the Houses of the State Legislature and the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23-A of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 shall apply as they apply in respect of rules made by the State Government under any Uttar Pradesh Act.]4 Amendments U.P. Repeal U.P. Act 10 of 1922 U.P. Act 1 of 1914 274- As from the date on which the establishment of [Kshettra Panchayats]1 is completed in a district the- United Provinces District Boards Act, 1922 and the United Provinces Local Rates Act, 1914, shall be, and stand, repealed in relation to that district : [Provided that in relation to areas in wich estates have not vested in the State under any law relating to the abolition of Zamindari, the provisions of the said Acts to the extent they relate to imposition and collection of local rate, shall be deemed to continue in force until the date of such vesting.]1 [(2) As from the date on which the [Zila Panchayat]3 is established in a district under section 17, the Uttar Pradesh Antarim Zila Parishad Act, 1958, shall be and stand repealed in relation to that district.]2
