It shall be the duty of a police officer to seize any bidis, cigarettes, tobacco or smoking mixture in the possession of a child whom he finds smoking in any street or public place and any bidis, cigarettes, tobacco or smoking mixture so seized shall be forfeited to State Government and every such police officer shall be authorized to search any child so found smoking but not a girl.
