(1) The [State Government]1 may from time to time modify any approved scheme notified under section 12 or substitute another scheme in its stead, and the provisions of this Act applicable to a scheme notified under section 12 shall thereafter be applicable to any scheme so modified or substituted: (2) Provided that any consent, publication or other thing required by this Act in respect of a scheme shall be necessary also in respect of the alteration of scheme or the substitution of a new scheme for an existing one.
