The officer mentioned in this Act or any person acting under the orders of any one of them may, in the discharge of any duty under this act, enter upon arid survey land and erect survey marks, thereon and demarcate the boundaries thereof and no all other acts necessary for the proper performance of that duty. Penalty for contravening provisions of section 5 30-A (1) Any person contravening the provisions of section 4 (b) shall, a conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction, be liable, to a fine not exceeding rupees one thousand. (2) A transfer made in contravention of the provisions of section 4 (b) shall not be valid or recognized, anything contained in any other Jaw for the time being to in force to, the contrary notwithstanding.
