(1) The rights conferred on an institution by approval may be withdraw or suspended for any period by the executive council if the institution has failed to observe any conditions of its approval or the work assigned under section 36 is conducted in a manner which is prejudicial to the interests of education, leaves the institution. (2) Before an order under sub-section (1)in respect of any approved institution, the executive council shall by notice in writing call upon the institution to show cause within one month from the date of the receipt of the notice, why such an order should not be made, the period so given for showing the cause may, ii necessary, be extended by the executive council. (3) On receipt of the explanation, if any, made by the institution in reply to the notice, and where no such reply is received, on the expiry of the period referred to in sub-section (2), the executive council shall, after such inquiry, if any, as may appear to it to be necessary decide whether the approval should be withdraw or suspended and make an order accordingly.
