(1) The Senate shall meet at least thrice in a financial year, other than for convocation, on dates to be fixed by the Vice-Chancellor. One of such Meeting of meetings shall be called the Annual Meeting. The Senate may also meet at the Senate. such other times as it may, from time to time, decide. (2) One-third of the total number of members of the Senate plus one shall be a quorum for a meeting of the Senate : Provided that such quorum shall not be required at a convocation. (3) The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writing by not less than one-third of the total number of members of the Senate, convene a meeting of the Senate. A meeting on such requisition shall be held within fifteen days of the receipt of the requisition by the Vice-Chancellor.
