(1) A Zilla Parishad or Panchayat Samiti, may with the concurrance of the Gram Panchayat and subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be mutually agreed upon, delegate to such Gram Panchayat, any of its functions in the manner prescribed. 1 Substituted by The Tripura Panchayat (First Amendment) Act, 1994 Power of recovery of cost work carried out by Gram Panchayat on failure of any person Joint Committees Delegation of functions by Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti 39 (2) Where functions are delegated to Gram Panchayat under this Section, the Gram Panchayat in the discharge of such fuctions shall act as the agent of the Zilla Parishad or the Panchayat Samiti as the case may be.
