(i) If, at any time, the State Government is of the opinion that the affairs of the University arc not managed in furtherance of the objects for· which any grant or donations is specifically made, by the State Government, Public bodies or individuals, University Funds, are misappropriated or misapplied, the State · Government may indicate such matter to the Syndicate and seek explanation and call upon that body -to offer such explanation, within a reasonable time, as it may desire to offer. (iii) If the Council fails to offer any explanation or makes proposal(s) which, in the opinion of the State Government is or are unsatisfactory, the State Government may issue such instmctions, as deemed necessary atJ.d desirable in the circumstances of the case, and the Syndicate shall give effect to such instmctions.
