(i) Subject to· the supervision, direction and general control of the Vice-Chancellor, the Finance Officer shall be in charge of the administration of the funds, the finances and the properties ofthe University and of all trusts and endowments; and he shall take special interest in activities that aim at raising funds for the purpose of the University and augmcpting resources of the University; (ii) The Finance Officer shall exercise such other powers and pllrform such other duties as may be prescribed or· delegated to him by or under the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the Ordinances or the Regulations, as the case may be.
