(1) There shall be a Dean for every School of the University who shall be a core faculty of the University, appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor in such manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes; (2) The Dean shall perform such duties and exercise such functions and powers as the Vice-Chancellor may specify and shall assist the Vice-Chancellor on academic and administrative matters, relating to the concerned School; Dean.
