(1) No person shall add to his name any title, letters or abbreviations, which imply that he holds a degree or diploma licence or certificate as his qualification to practice as a Para Medical Technician, unless,- (a) he has actually received such degree or diploma or licence or certificate; and (b) such degree or diploma, licence or certificate is recognized by any law for the time being in force in the State, or has been conferred or granted or issued by an authority appointed under this Act. (2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) shall on conviction be punishable, in the case of first offence, with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees and in the case of a second or subsequent offences, with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees.
