(1) No person shall, without disinfection of the same, give, lend, sell, transmit or otherwise dispose of any article which he knows or has reason to know has been exposed to infection from any infectious disease. (2) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to apply to a person who transmits with proper precautions, any such articles, for the purpose of having the same disinfected. Public conveyance which has carried a person suffering from infectious disease to be disinfected. Duty of owner, etc., of public conveyance in regard to cases of infectious disease.
