No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or any officer or servant of the Government or any person acting under the direction of the Government or an officer or servant of the Government or aiding or assisting the Government or an officer or servant of the Government, in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder or in respect of anything which was in good faith done or intended to be done in the exercise of the powers or jurisdiction purported to have been conferred by the 1949 Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
