The courses of study and curricula shall be those prescribed. (1) No student shall be eligible for admission to a course of study qualifying for admission to University examination unless he has passed the examination prescribed as qualifying for admission to such course or an examination recognised by the *[Planning and Monitoring Board] as equivalent thereto and possesses such other qualification, if any, as may be prescribed. 42 [Act No. 11 of 1982] (2) Every candidate for an University Examination shall unless exempted in accordance with the Regulations prescribed be an enrolled member of the University. (3) The University shall recognise by every degree conferred or diploma granted by any other University in the State as equivalent to the corresponding degree or diploma conferred or granted by the University.
