(1) The Government may, if it thinks fit on a resolution passed by the Board, remove any member elected or appointed under this Act, after giving him an opportunity of being heard and after full satisfaction that such member has been guilty of misconduct in the discharge of his duties or is guilty of any disgraceful conduct or has become incapable of performing his duties as a member: Provided that two-third of the whole number of members vote in favour of such resolution. (2) Any removal of member under sub-section (1) shall disqualify the person so removed for re-election to the vacancy caused for the period during which he would have continued as a member.
