(1) If at a general election or a bye-election to a Board held under section 11 no member is elected, a fresh election shall be held, as soon as may be, on such date as the Government may fix in this behalf. (2) If at such fresh election no member is elected, the Government shall appoint a person or persons to fill the vacancy or vacancies. The person or persons so appointed Orders of the Tribunal to be final and conclusive. Orders to take effect only on publication. Term of office. Procedure when no member is elected. [Act No.I of 1956] 27 shall be deemed to be elected members for the purpose of this Act. (3) The term of office of a member elected or appointed under this section shall expire at the time at which it would have expired if he had been elected at the general election or by-election, as the case may be.
