Military duty to count for pension: Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules or the Special Service rules, if a member of a service in the Council is deputed for military duty, he/she shall be entitled to count the period spent on military duty for the purpose of pension, if he/she would have counted for that purpose his/her service in the Council but for his/her deputation to military duty.
