Notwi.thstanding anything contained in this Act, or in any other law for POwortoohh the time being In force, the Government may, by order in writing, call for any in- formation from the University or any matterrelating to the affairs of the University and the University shall, if such information is available with it, rurnish the Govern- ment with such information within a reasonable period : Provided that in the case of information which t'le University considers confi- d ential, the University may place the same before the Chancellor and Pro- Chancellor.
