Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the Ordinances may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- Ordinance (a) the admission of students to the University and the levy of fees in University Colleges and laboratories* 4[(b)] the conditions of residence of the students of the University and the levy of fees for residence in hostels maintained by the university ; 4[(c)] the conditions of recognition of hostels not maintained by the university. ‘[(d)] the *[**] qualifications and emoluments of teachers of the University ;
