Paj~ment of interest.-The prescribed authority , shall pay the' nmount of compensation determined uader section 6 9 t h interest 1 thereon at the rate of nine pzr centum per annum for the period 6f one year from the date of taking possession of the scheduled lands and at the rate of fifteen per centum per annum from the date of expiry of the said period of one year until it shall have been so paid or deposited. 1 1 .
