Section 100

Bequest under will for benefit of religious institution

Bequest under will for benefit of religious institution.—(1) Where under any will, a bequest has been made in favour of a religious institution or where such bequest itself creates a religious institution, it shall be the duty of the executor under the will to forward a copy thereof to 4[the Joint or Deputy or Assistant Commissioner of the division], where such will may have been or is required to be registered. (2) No probate of any such will or letters of administration with such will annexed shall be granted by any Court unless it is satisfied that a copy of such will has been forwarded to the 4[Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner] as provided by sub-section (1).
