Subject to the provisions of this Act and the statutes, the ordinances may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely: (a) the admission of the students to the University and its affiliated colleges and the levy of fees for admission to the University and colleges; Ordinances (b) the courses of study leading to all degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University; (c) the conditions under which the students shall be admitted to the courses of study leading to degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University; (d) the conduct of examination of the University and the conditions subject to which students shall be admitted to such examinations; (e) the manner in which exemption relating to the admission of students to examinations may be given; (f) the conditions and mode of appointment and duties of examining bodies and examiners; (g) the maintenance of discipline among the students of the University; (h) the fees to be charged for courses of study, research, experiment and practical training and for admission to the examinations for degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions of the University; and (i) any other matter which by this Act or the statutes is required to be, or may be, prescribed by ordinances.
