The last date for receipt of applications invited in 1972 was fixed as 31-3-1974. As a result of liberalisation of pension scheme from 1-8-80 a period of one year i.e. 1-8-1980 to 31-7-1981 was given for filling applications for Samman pension. The persons who could/did not apply earlier due to any reason or who were not sanctioned pension even though they were eligible may submit their applications immediately but before 31st July 1981. This date was extended. The receipt of applications has since been stopped after 31-3-1982.
