(c) to approve the budget and annual report of the University; (d) to make regulations regarding scheme of examinations and conditions on which the students shall be admitted to the examinations, degrees, diplomas, pre-university certificate or other academic distinctions; (e) to lay down the policies to be followed by the University; (0 to recommend to the sponsoring body about the voluntary liquidation of the University if a situation arises when smooth functioning of the University does not remain possible in spite of all efforts; and (g) such other powers as may be prescribed by the Statutes. The Governing Body shall meet at least thrice in a calendar year. The quorum for meetings of the Governing Body shall be 5 members.
