Act to have over-riding effect (1) The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in the relevant law. (2) So much of the relevant law as provided for the matters covered by this Act shall, as from the commencement of this Act, cease to have effect as respects those matters. *13. Power to make rules The Syndicate of the University concerned may make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Act.
