Court competent to try offences under this Act and cognizance of offences

Court competent to try offences under this Act and cognizance of offences. - (1) No court other than the Court of a Magistrate of the first, class shall take cognizance of, or try, an offence under this Act. (2) No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act exception a complaint in writing of an officer empowered by rules made in this behalf.
