Chairperson.- (1) An eminent person from the academia/industry shall be the Chairperson of the Institute and shall also be the Chairperson of the Governing Board. (2) The appointment of the Chairperson shall be on the basis of nomination by the State Government. (3) The term of office of the chairperson shall be three years.
